Crysdiam attended the Lab-grown Diamond Symposium in Dubai
&nbs≥£p; On July 10th, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre&γ∑☆ (DMCC) hosted the first Lab-Grown Diamond ↓σSymposium under the theme of “Build↔₩Ωλing Lab-Grown Diamonds’ Own Brighλφ•t Future”. The Symposium welcomed over 2€↔♦$30 stakeholders and induσ βσstry experts including growers, manufacturers, "∏retailers and financial institutions ₽, and organized threγ÷>e panel discussions dived into the issues a ↓round the value chain economics, brandα•ing and marketing, and rep↕'utation and sustainability.
Crysdiam, together with growers and br±σ←ands including Craft Lab Grown Diamonds, Hyγde Park Jewelers and Bhanderi Lab Grown Dia✘©monds, joined the panel discussion δ↕on "Industry Economics", discussing h♠≤ow to improve the long-¶←±term fundamentals and p☆φ★≠rofitability of the industry and meet supply ch↓♦•ain funding requirements.
Mr. Liang Weizhang, Senior Strategic Advisor of $≥Crysdiam, spoke in t≤䧱he panel that the technology progre©✘→©ss has reduced the cost of lab-grow↔&£✘n diamonds. Now the marginal cost of the industry♣₽ is approaching the fixed★δ≤≠ cost, and the industry is about to ush↑♦φ∏er in a new revolution, which wi↔♣ll attract more innovations a★σ←nd applications and bring a §¶≤second growth curve. In addition, the collab∑€ oration between the upstream £€Ω and downstream of the industrial chain, ×±as well as the cooperati©↔on among growers, traders and retailers in the ☆↓♠"supply chain is very important for☆€δ∏ the long-term devel'¶$λopment of the industry.
The technolδσogy session discussed how innovations suc₹×₹h as more efficient reactors are ×≠making production more cost and energy efficien✔✘t, as well as how the tech sector is mo re bankable than jewellery, giving r≥≈'ise to a broader ran£&↔$ge of opportunities for •✔ tech applications of lab-∑→©₹grown diamonds. Additionally, another s↕δσession concluded that the↓≥$ price accessibility of lab-grown diam¥ onds means that they are not constrai↕<±ned to traditional jewellery designs, ¥≤meaning that lab-gro&±↔↕wn diamonds should be marketed with wi•εder applications such as in the design ₩of sunglasses, handbags and other similar produc≈<ts.
As a leading producer of CVD diamond, Crysdiβσ∏&am has been committed to the ind☆"ustrial production and high-end application deveβ☆lopment of large-size sin™•'♥gle crystal CVD diamond. Crysdiam cooperates ×€∏↑with various universities and colleges at home an®δd abroad to develop the application of large-∏₹≥βsize single crystal diamond i₽± ≤n laser crystals, optical windows, heat s γinks, quantum materials, high-power devices and ≥ so on. The upgradable MPCVD equipment developed by Cry☆§sdiam can meet the doping requ ♠&irements of high-end funct• ional devices, reali¥₩×ze high-precision controllable gδ↓as doping, and can industrially produce h♥¥©igh-quality single crystal diamonds above 35*α♣∏☆35mm with low defect density. The products are widely used in je₩₹★welry and technology fields.
Crysdia<×≥m will work together with colleagues in the in$∑dustry to create a bright future for lab-grown®∏ δ diamonds!
